Advertising supports the site
Wrivel displays advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising revenue can support hosting, maintenance and development of the free planning tools and guides.
Ads do not change calculator results
Advertisers do not choose Wrivel's runoff factors, route geometry, grade calculations, storage formulas or field-screen logic. The same tool inputs produce the same tool outputs regardless of which advertisement is shown.
Editorial content is separate
Guides are organized around drainage questions such as source, route, outlet, storage and field verification. An advertiser does not receive a preferred score, “recommended” label or hidden ranking inside those guides because it purchased an ad.
Ad selection and privacy
Google and participating advertising technology providers may select and measure ads using contextual information, consent signals and other data described in the applicable consent interface and provider policies. See the Privacy notice and Cookies & browser storage page for more detail.
Paid placement versus site navigation
Advertisements are separate from Wrivel's normal navigation, calculators and editorial links. Clicking an advertisement can take you to a third-party site governed by that site's own terms and privacy practices.
Affiliate relationships and sponsorships
Wrivel does not currently rely on an undisclosed affiliate ranking system. If a future article or tool contains an affiliate relationship, sponsorship or other material commercial connection, it will be disclosed near the relevant content rather than hidden in a general legal page.
